Often times we try to make the story of Jesus’ death and resurrection less monstrous. We tame it. But in Mark’s telling of the gospel, he will not allow it. He shows the disbelief that is clearly in the women and the disciples of Christ. He shows that they struggle to believe the truth. Do you ever struggle to believe the grace of Christ?
