Jeremiah 31:31-34 & John 12:20-33
Do you seek to see Jesus? When the Greeks come seeking to see Jesus, his response is that “the hour has come for me to be glorified.” But this glorification is not a celebration as we see the word, rather it is the announcement of the hour of Christ’s death. It is in this moment that Jesus changes his language and teachings. We hear him speak of death. We see him pray that God’s will, will be done so that the glorification of the Father can be known to all.
So when you hear the voice of God, do you run to him? Because he is looking for all of us. Because he is looking to drag or haul all of us into glory to him when he is lifted up.
