All decision in life are like doors. Doors open us to spaces that allow us to explore and enter us into a world of mystery. Opportunities provide us with open doors and even doors that close. Sometimes a closed door makes it so we look a different direction, or choose a different opportunity.
Our story from Acts today presents us with the story of Paul and Barnabas parting ways. This is not a story of reconciliation. Rather it is a story of how the spreading of the gospel occurred when a relational door closed. The Bible doesn’t tell us who was in the right or the wrong. But rather how the word was spread by a closed door.
